Vahini
Educational Society, registered in the year 1997 has established Jayaprakash
Narayan College of Engineering (JPNCE) by experienced Academic Visionaries and
Industrialists with a view to provide high quality education in the technical
field and follow principles, morals, ethics and ideals of Bharat Ratna Lok
Nayak Late Sri Jayaprakash Narayan. Hence the college is named after him. This
college is located in the rural area in Mahabubnagar District and it is the
first college to be established in Mahabubnagar district. There are total 7
colleges in the district and this college is reckoned by all stake holders as
one of the best colleges of the district. The college is about 8 Kms from
Mahabubnagar and 100 Kms from Hyderabad, & 75 Kms from Rajeev Gandhi International
Airport, Hyderabad & is well connected by Rail, Road and Air.
Mahabubnagar is one of the backward districts of Andhra Pradesh and is coming up in the industrial field in the recent years. A few Technical Educational Institutes are also established in the district. Jayaprakash Narayan College of Engineering is the first technical institution to be established in the year 1997 to produce engineers required for the local development and in addition, providing opportunities for the students in this area. There are large numbers of reputed giant industrial establishments existing in this rural area such as M/s. HBL Power Systems Ltd., M/s. Saint Gobain, M/s. Pitti Laminations etc. A branch of Remote Sensing Agency, a Govt. organization is also available within 50 Kms from the college. This institute is preparing graduates to be useful for employment in the above organizations and there is a close collaboration with some of the industries in choosing the students of Jayaprakash Narayan College of Engineering to suit to their needs. There is an impressive Industry-Institute Interaction taking place for the growth of this region. Many of the I.T. professionals graduated from this institute are being absorbed by multi national companies like M/s. Satyam Computers, M/s. CMC, M/s. Wipro Computers etc. and also abroad. Electronic Engineers produced by this college are getting absorbed in organizations like ECIL, Hyderabad and other Electronic Industries within India and outside. The graduates produced by EEE Dept. of the college are being absorbed in APSEB and other Electrical Industries. Recently, Govt. of A.P. has decided to develop Fab City in the region which provides lot of opportunities for the students of Computer Science Engineering, Electronics
&
Communication Engineering and Electrical & Electronics Engineering
branches. For all the ongoing development, core infrastructure in Mechanical
and Civil Engg is also in high demand.
With recent relocated International Airport being established, situated about 70 kms from Mahabubnagar District, Industries & Infrastructure development activities have been on exponential rise in the district. JPNCE has been continuously making efforts to bring in the best facility in the campus through entering into MOUs with well performing Institutes like NIT, Warangal and also with many local industries & industries in Hyderabad. The effect of this has created increased enthusiasm and awareness amongst students who are bringing laurels by securing First Prize at Technical Symposium inside and outside the state of A.P.

Sri. K. S. Ravi Kumar is an eminent educationist and has been
the beacon of success of the various technical Institutions and their growth.
He is known for his academic organizing abilities. He was born on 6th August,
1964 at vemula village in Mahabubnagar District.His primary education was
carried in vemula and higher education at MBC High
School,Mahabubnagar.Intermideate and Degree(B.Com) at MVS Degree College in
1984.Later he completed his LLB from Maratwada University,Nanded,Maharastra in
1987.After his LLB he started his practice as an ADVOCATE in MAHABUBNAGAR .

He is also acting as Chairman, A.P. Engineering Colleges
Coordination Committee. He is the Secretary/Correspondent of M/s. Comp-Tech.
ITI. He has been the beacon and lighthouse for the college leading it towards
success and growth. He is an Academic Advisor for several reputed Institutions.
He is a Visionary and a noted Educationist and devoted to Academics,known for
his Academic intrest and Organizing abilities. He is the Jt. Secretary of
A.P.Private Engineering Colleges Management Association.
He is the recipient of Gold Medal,from his Excellency Shree Rameshwar Thakur, Former Governor of A.P. for largset blood donation made from the institution to Red Cross Society every year.

Political Profile: He served as District Youth Congress President-Mahabubnagar(1983 - 1999) and Treasurer of District Congress Committee, Mahabubnagar(1999 - 2000).He Contested from Deverakadra Assembly Constituency during 2009 Elections and secured Highest votes in the District among the PRP candidates.Now, joined Congress Party along with the PRP Cadre in the presence of PCC Chief Bothsa Satyanarayana.

Prof. R. Ramesh Reddy born in 1951 December, studied H.S.C in 1967 from St.Paul's high School; P.U.C from Nizam College - 1968; B.tech (Civil) - JNTU (1974); M.Tech (Structural) - IIT - Delhi (1976); Ph.D. (IIT-Delhi) (1992).Prof. Reddy joined Osmania university in 1979 as lecturer, Reader-1987 and in 1994 selected as Professor. Prof. Reddy retired from services at OU in Dec 2011.He has taken charge as Principal of JPNCE from 3 July 2012.

He worked as Head of Civil Engg. from 1998-2000 and presently
Chairman of Civil Engg. Board of studies & Director-Industrial Development
and Incubation centre, Osmania University from 1998 - 2001. Held numerous
positions in University such as Chairman of Branch Change Committee, Warden,
students Advisor and Students Welfare etc.
Prof.
Reddy was the Principal Investigator of R & D Project on Corrosion and
Expert System funded by MHRD (GOI) and AICTE. He is the Governing body member
of more than 10 Engineering Colleges. He is an AICTE Expert Member in
Monitoring Private Engineering Colleges in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil
Nadu and Pondicherry (Southern Region and South Western Region). He was member
of NBA and AICTE for Accreditation of Engineering College.
Prof.
Reddy published more than 75 papers in International and National Journals,
Conferences and edited 3 books. He organized several National and International
Conferences. He contributed to the construction of multistoried buildings,
Stadium, Auditorium, Theatres and Industrial structures as consultant and
earned substantially for University.
Prof.
Reddy received numerous awards for his contribution to education, research and
for motivating Entrepreneurship among engineers. Some of
the notable awards worth mentioning are an award from the President of India
for outstanding service. He is rated as an outstanding intellectual by American
Bio-Grapher USA, Man of the century by Cambridge Bio-Grapher, UK and listed in
Baron's 500 outstanding Asians of the 2000. He figures in the top hundred
Scientists of the world-2007. He was
awarded the Decree of Excellence in Education by Int. Biog. Centre, Cambridge,
England-2007. He is nominated to American Biographers Institute of Int.
Directory of Distinguished leadership, Hall of Fame, ABI, USA 2007.
Fellow
of Institution of Engineers (India), Jt.Hon.Secy.IEI, A.P. State Centre; Fellow
I.I.Bridge Engineers; Life member ICI, ISTE, IGS, IRSE etc. Chairman - CRYD an
NGO working in rural areas. Funded PORTALS, NIRMAAN for Civil Engineers for
imparting professional training. Organising Secretary of Intellectual's
Forum.Organized 8 conferences including International Conferences, Guided 30
M.E. Reports, 25 R&D Reports and guiding eight Ph.D. Scholars.
For his
achievements he is amply awarded by president of India, Rotary club, he figures
in Marqui's Who's who in the world, who's who in America. Who's who in Science
of the world, outstanding intellectual by American Bio-Grapher, Man of the
century by Cambridge Bio-Grapher, UK.

The Promoting body - Vahini Educational
Society was formed by enterprising intellectuals of local area and established
Jayaprakash Narayan College of Engineering with a view to facilitate quality
technical education to the youth of rural areas and urbanise them with morals
and ethics cherished by Bharat Ratna Loknayak Jayaprakash Narayan. This society
was registered under Societies Act with Registrar of Societies, Govt. of A.P. Hyderabad
(Regn. No. 401 of 96 dt. 30th January, 1996)
